Welcome to WORKING CLASS PRESS, an independent comic book publisher formed in 2008 by two friends united by their passion for music, comic books, literature, and film. We’re a 100% creator-owned-and-operated company committed to giving artists with no outlet a platform to express themselves.
We’re artists, but we don’t make our living through art. On the weekends. After work. During lunch breaks. That’s when you’ll find us lost in a notepad, pen working furiously to fill up the lines with a story, or at the drafting table, working on thumbnails and character designs for our next issue.

Changing Times
We’ve experienced many personal changes over the years. Working Class Press and the content we create for it has been a constant for us through all the cross country moves, new jobs, marriages, and babies born. Our main inspiration has always been to create stories we’d want to see and read, with the hope that you’ll enjoy them too!
About Us
Jason Miller and James Guy Hill are both experienced artists. Jason began his career in Hollywood as an assistant to a two-time Best Picture Oscar nominated film producer before moving on to Marvel Studios, while James is a skilled illustrator and graphic designer. Their common passion for sequential art brought them together to start an independent project within the large and diverse comic book community.
